At its simplest, Bitcoin is either virtual currency or reference to the technology. You can make transactions by check, wiring, or cash. You can also use Bitcoin (or BTC), where you refer the purchaser to your signature, which is a long line of security codeencrypted with 16 distinct symbols. The purchaser decodes the code with his smartphone to get your cryptocurrency. Put another way; cryptocurrency is an exchange of digital information that allows you to buy or sell goods and services. The transaction gains its security and trust by running on a peer-to-peer computer network that is similar to Skype, or BitTorrent, a file-sharing system.

This Infographic in this article describes the BCH chain of bitcoin, called Bitcoin Cash.

The BTC chain of bitcoin no longer resembles the Satoshi Nakamoto whitepaper, as BTC is instead pursuing a scaling approach that involves high fees on the main chain in order to force commerce onto layer-2 solutions (which have been in development for several years but are still not yet ready actual use).

What is Bitcoin? A Step-By-Step Guide For Beginners

Bitcoin emerged in 2008 just after Occupy Wall Street accused big banks of:

  • misusing borrowers’ money,
  • duping clients,
  • rigging the system,
  • and charging boggling fees.

Bitcoin pioneers wanted to put the seller in charge, eliminate the middleman, cancel interest fees, and make transactions transparent, to hack corruption and cut fees. They created a decentralized system, where you could control your funds and know what was going on.

Bitcoin has come far in a relatively short time. All over the world, companies, from REEDS Jewelers, a large jewelry chain in the US, to a private hospital in Warsaw, Poland, accept its currency.

Billion dollar businesses such as Dell, Expedia, PayPal, and Microsoft do, too. Websites promote it, publications such as Bitcoin Magazine publish its news, forums discuss cryptocurrency and trade its coins. It has its application programming interface (API), price index, and exchange rate.

Problems include thieves hacking accounts, high volatility, and transaction delays. On the other hand, people in third world countries may find Bitcoin their most reliable channel yet for giving or receiving money.

Flight Tracker Visualizes June 30 as one of the Busiest Days ever in Air Travel

The best live flight radar app I have ever used – Flight Radar 24.

The skies look a lot more crowded today than they did a century ago.

At any given moment, there are 9700 airplanes traveling through the air on average. Saturday, June 30 was an especially busy day for air travelers: Flightradar24 recorded 202,157 flights, the most the flight-tracking app has ever documented in a single day.

Since 2006, people have used Flightradar24 to see visualizations of aircraft making trips around the world.

Each tiny yellow plane depicted on their map uses data from airlines and airports, and users can click the icons to learn the route, model, speed, altitude, and departure and arrival time of each craft.

Flightradar24 is a Swedish internet-based service that shows real-time commercial aircraft flight information on a map. It includes flight tracks, origins and destinations, flight numbers, aircraft types, positions, altitudes, headings and speeds.

Do you know that Artificial Intelligence can predict your death?

Artificial_Intelligence_Can_Predict_Human_Death

Yes, it’s true. Artificial Intelligence can be used as a death factoring calculator. Case studies have proved that AI can predict metastatic cancer and deaths caused by heart attack. Let’s deep dive how? Google is creating an Artificial Intelligence (AI) system that can be used to predict a patient’s death—Simply astonishing.

Google’s Medical Brain team is using a new type of Artificial Intelligence algorithm that can make predictions about the likelihood of death among hospital patients. The company claims that the AI can predict when a patient might die more accurately than other traditional models used by doctors.

Artificial Intelligence (AI) systems are clearly taking the world by storm. AI technology is revolutionizing the world and is prevalent in almost every facet of our lives:

  • The way we purchase items.
  • The way we communicate.
  • The way we move across the world.

These days, AI is pushing its boundaries further and entering into the deadly territories: Death Prediction.

What is Artificial Intelligence?

Artificial Intelligence is a branch of Computer Science which aims to make machines simulate Human Intelligence Tasks/Processes. These systems usually make predictions using a technique referred to as Machine Learning.

How does Google AI make Predictions?

Artificial Intelligence Can Predict Your Death

The system works by chewing up data about various details of a patient such as age, gender, ethnicity, previous diagnosis, present signs, and laboratory results.

What’s more, the system can also take data buried on charts and PDFs and use it for making predictions.

After testing the algorithm, Google found out that it could make death predictions with an astonishing accuracy level of 95%, which is 10% more accurate than the traditional models.

In one of the case studies, the Google AI software crunched about 176,000 data points of the records of a woman with metastatic cancer and pronounced that she had a 19.9% chance of dying in the hospital. The doctors at the hospital had given her a 9.3% chance of dying.

Amazingly, as predicted by the AI software, the woman died after two weeks—beating the doctors at their own game.

Although the Google’s AI may not be perfect at predicting deaths, it would continue to perform better as it is ‘taught’ with more data.

Therefore, if this breakthrough healthcare technology is improved, it can reduce human error in medicine and lead to more lives being saved.

National-award winning actress, the feisty Kangana Ranaut will be seen playing the courageous Rani Laxmibai in Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi next year.

The story is based on the famous Jhansi ki Rani.

Directed by Telugu film-maker Krish, the movie is hands down one of the highly-anticipated films of 2019.

maxresdefault (2).jpg

Speculations were rife that the magnum opus has been postponed due to the fact that it involves heavy VFX.

Rani Laxmibai was a freedom fighter and thus, it only seemed apt for the makers that the project is screened in the month of our Independence. Rani Lakshmibai’s battle against the Britishers was the first fight for freedom, so looking at the emotion, the call was taken to release it in August 2018, however the film’s release has now been postponed.

As per latest information from the sets of Manikarnika, Krish’s focus has shifted to the NTR biopic, co-starring Nandamuri Balakrishnan and Vidya Balan, thus Kangana Ranaut decided to complete the film in time to release next year on Republic Day.

Krish assigned his dates to the NTR biopic, which is also slated to release in the first half of 2019.

Google Celebrates 130th Birth Anniversary of Oskar Schlemmer with a Doodle

oskar-schlemmers-130th-birthday

Happy Birthday, Oskar Schlemmer ! Google celebrates the 130th Birth Anniversary of German painter, sculptor, designer and choreographer Oskar Schlemmer, who was a German artist and choreographer known for both his paintings and ballet productions.

His best-known work, The Triadic Ballet (1922), reflected Schlemmer’s interest in the convergence of colors, shapes, and human movement.

“If today’s arts love the machine, technology, and organization, if they aspire to precision and reject anything vague and dreamy, this implies an instinctive repudiation of chaos and a longing to find the form appropriate to our times,” he once said.

Born on September 4, 1888 in Stuttgart, Germany, he studied both design and fine arts as a young man. Wounded while serving in World War I, after returning to his hometown in 1916, Schlemmer helped spearhead updating the Stuggart Academy of Fine Arts curriculum and attempted to have Paul Klee appointed as a faculty member. He went on to teach at Walter Gropius’s Weimar Bauhaus before the advent of the Nazi regime during the early 1930s. Over the following decade, the artist’s life was drastically altered by the Nazi’s restrictions, forcing him to earn a living working a lacquer factory and paint traditional portraits and landscapes. Schlemmer died on April 13, 1943 in Baden-Baden, Germany.

Today, his works are held in the collections of The Museum of Modern Art in New York, the National Gallery in Washington, D.C., and the Albertina in Vienna, among others.
